Media TARUS with Farmaceutica Remedia and B.Braun held on 15 June 2015, at the Palace Cesianu-Racot (Artmark), Bucharest, medical symposium Innovations in Wound Management.

The event kicked off the series of practical courses with the same name, which has as main objective the improvement and continuous improvement of professional standards, and the transmission of useful information in the field of wound care.
The first presentation entitled “ALTRAZEAL-dressing latest in treating chronic wounds” was supported by Ms Daniela Petri RADULESCU assistant in the department of General Surgery Sptalului Saint Panteleimon. ALTRAZEAL is a compress on healing powder that uses a revolutionary technology for the treatment of exudative wounds of various etiologies, namely nanoflex ™ technology. In the presentation, they highlighted fot types of wounds for ALTRAZEAL product may be used, the application and benefits to patients.

Mr. Cristian Dobre, OAMGMAMR accredited trainer, had presented a lecture on the topic “Risks and errors in managemnet wound”. In his speech, Mr. Dobre brought to the attention of the auditor evolutionary stages of a wound in a physiological process of healing, stressing the need for different approach to each evolutionary stage. Their interventions proposed in the second part of her therapeutic solutions offered by the company B.Braun Medical for complex management of chronic wounds, finally presenting a clinical case approached from the perspective of modern therapeutics.

The first meeting took place in Bucharest and gathered a total of 50 nurses and workers in the medical and social care system involved in wound management. The next symposium will be held in the cities of Cluj, Iasi, Timisoara and Craiova, starting on September 18, 2015.

The courses satisfy the need for continuous training and information practitioners in this field, from novice to expert, by integrating interactive sessions that provide global strategy wound management.

The symposium was credited by OAMGMAMR with 3 credits.
