Altrazeal – presented at the First Congress of the Romanian Society of Vascular Surgery

The First Congress of the Romanian Society of Vascular Surgery took place between October 16^th and 18^th, 2014 in Sibiu.

This event gathered important participants as Dr. Mihai Ionac (President of the Romanian Society of Vascular Surgery), Dr. Sorin Baila (President of the Congress) and Dr. Ionel Droc (President of the Scientific Committee).

The organizers of the event wanted to bring together all the vascular surgeons in our country and abroad in order to talk about personal experiences, professional news and creating “a common guide book about the work method in vascular surgery”.

They also talked about Aortic Pathology, Pathology of Carotid, Peripheral Arterial Pathology, Phlebology, Abdominal Aorta, Aneurysm Disease, Endovascular Surgery and other topics.

There were given some rewards during the Congress of the Romanian Society of Vascular Surgery: The prize “Aurel Kaufmann” for the best project about prevention of lower limbs amputation, The prize for the best resident physician research and 15 participation fees for “19-th European Vascular Course ” that will take place in Maastricht, 2015.

The presentation of Farmaceutica REMEDIA was held by Dr. Radu Popa (Vascular Surgery Clinic in the St. Spiridon Hospital, Iasi) and was entitled „Treatment of the cronic wounds using Altrazeal”. The public appreciated the benefits of this innovative compress for the treatment and healing of the producing exudate wounds.
